1. Smelter Operation Readiness – Contract Management

Key Duties and responsibilities of this position are:

  • Put together and review Scopes of Work (SOW)
  • Perform bids as required by site and GSC policies in place.
  • Submit bid analysis for approval to manager(s)/supervisor(s)
  • Negotiate legal terms and conditions of service.
  • Negotiate pricing terms.
  • Sign and execute agreement.
  • Create and submit expenditure approval for maintenance if required.
  • Select appropriate costing information.
  • Ensure selected Contractor follows provisions of the Contractor Safety Manual
  • Schedule job and see that the schedule is maintained.
  • Supervise work safety.
  • Supervise work performance.
  • Review invoices for accuracy in rates and prices
  • Review invoices for completeness of work performed.
  • Issue final acceptance of work performed.
  • Submit request for changes in the contract (Change Order) prior to changes being incurred, or soon after becoming aware of these.
  • Review and approve Contractor JSA for compliance with Corporate and site requirements and maintain a repository of Contractor JSAs on SharePoint
  • Assist Contract Manager in supervising safe work through observations, audits, etc.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical Engineering preferred.
  • Computer literacy in MS Office Suite is required.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Mining/ Metals Processing facility in engineering, or maintenance and supply chain preferred.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills required.
  • Must be able to lead a cross functional team and possess a drive for continuous improvement.
  • Must be able to train and mentor others.

2. Smelter Ops Readiness – HR Business Partnering Officer

The key duties and responsibilities of this position:

  • Doing regular coordination meeting with each department/ line management (Operation area or Support area)
  • Analyze trends and metric in partnership with HR Groups to develop solutions, program and policies and provide guidance interpretation.
  • Assist line management to Manage and resolve complex employee relation issues in an effective, thorough and objective investigative manner
  • As a partner in business and HR, has legal knowledge capable of protecting related parties
  • Provide day to day performance management guidance to line management (coaching, counselling, career development and disciplinary action)
  • Work closely with line management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale and increase productivity and retention
  • Assis process of recruitment, promotion and transfer in line management
  • Provide guidance and input regarding business unit restructuring, workforce planning and succession planning
  • Assist line management to identify development and training needs, individual executive coaching needs, participate in monitoring evaluation and following up on implemented program.

Minimum Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Management, Industrial engineering, or related field and five (5) years of experience in business partner area,
  • Prior major project management and/or start-up on big industry experience.
  • Core Competencies (Knowledge, Skills & Characters):
  • Deep knowledge and experience on end-to-end major HR Business Process
  • High communication skill, both verbal and written.
  • Deep on Business understanding and Management skill

3. Smelter Operation Readiness – Superintendent Sales Planning & Controlling

The key duties and responsibilities of this position:

  • Engages and works directly and collaboratively with all stakeholders during the sales process to execute sales expansion and maintenance strategies using company programs, solutions and services to address customer specific needs.
  • Establishes projected sales and inventory volume for each products and monitors sales performance.
  • Provides a weekly & monthly report that summarizes the sales performance, sales prognose, and sales achievement (PTS, MSP, and MMR).
  • Keeps management/engineering/production informed of design/specification trends.
  • Participates in analyzing/determining market potential and sales expense estimates.
  • Help develop and implement strategies to increase sales by identifying new markets for existing products.
  • Attend meetings, training, and maintain regular communication with the regional / global Sales Community, Association, MIND ID, and Freeport McMoran.
  • Help develop pricing plans for products based on netbacks, customer needs, industry standards, and competitive environment.
  • Maintain adequate inventory targets to meet customer demand.
  • Assess & control inventory output on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis to identify trends in productivity & sales.

The key challenges in this position:

  • Coordinate with all stakeholder (production, procurement, sales development and logistic outbound) from MSP and other subsidiary company (i.e PTS, and MMR) to established projected sales & inventory report.
  • Compile, create and present weekly, monthly and annual reports to different stakeholders.

Minimum Education & Experience:

  • Bachelors degree in Business / Marketing / Information Technology / Administration / Management
  • 5+ years of experience in Sales Manager / Sales Administration Manager / Sales Planning & Monitoring role
  • Core Competencies (Knowledge, Skills & Characters):
  • Customer Relationship Management (CRM) experience is an advantage
  • Familiar with SAP System
  • Ability to develop and convey complex concepts to non-technical partners
  • Ability to budget and forecast operating plans
  • Wide sales coverage optimization (creation of analytics models)
